htc sensation is it 4g xe or xl

i just bought a sensation off craigslist its 2.3.4 and sense 3.0 it says under model number xe with beats audio but under software information it says andriod revolutionhd 3.6.13 by mike 1986 so does that mean this has a rom and i dont think i have 4 g only 3g and when it downloads it switches from 3g to an X and i dont see no download buttons to upgrade to ice cream sandwich

Can you put a memory card in it , if you can its an xe if you can't its an xl
