Cry Hate myself, dropped my two day new HTC Sensation

I hate myself for dropping my brand new HTC Sensation face down.
Cracks, ALL OVER. It was two days NEW... my best friend warned me not to take it with me to this club,, I stood up from the bar, and my heart stopped. When I turned my baby over to see what happened, I noticed, and everyone around me, that the most gorgeous phone Evarrr got ruined. It did get me a hell lot of free drinks though..

I'm now waiting to get it back from repair.. bought a case mate tough cover hybrid layers.. Is it good? Because I don't wanna relive this nightmare ever again.

Who else already dropped and ruined their HTC Sensation?

See ya,

Vink

Ahhh.. snapp.. That sucks... If that happened to my sexy little thing i don't know what i would do... Though.. My last phone got stolen! Right out of my pocket and i didn't feel a thing... my dear old Desire HD... And this happened RIGHT before i had convinced my self to skip this round of flagships.

Well well.. my SGS2 does things to me the Desire HD couldn't even imagine how to do. (no pun intended... ish...)

Default no worries

Probably saved yourself some pain. Mine is 3 days new and hate isn't a strong enough word for this aggravating waste of money.

If any of you reside in the UK and are considering the Case-Mate 'Tough Case', Carphone Warehouse branches are selling them for half price when you purchase another accessory with them. Just picked up a screen protector with my case using the deal.

I just bought a case mate double layered, the description said: Perfect for hiking, so i thought: DEal.!

Hope it will do well on my dear sensation when it finally returns, I miss it terribly..

I just bought a Case Mate Tough Case and its great! I found it was too big to fit in a regular cell phone case (at least any of the ones at the local electronics store), so I found a utility case made by Nite Ize that fits perfectly.

Otterbox cases are generally regarded as rather good. Unfortunately, I'm not sure they make them for the sensation yet...

These days I get phone insurance -- we do have 4 smartphones in the family which are covered. This can be expensive, but we opted for a "premium" bank account that includes phone insurance, gadget insurance (kindle, netbook etc), and travel insurance amongst other things. For a family of 4 the price is reasonable.

Having said that I'm also careful with my phones. All except one are in cheap ebay gel covers, but I guess we try not to drop them. Am not a fan of the chunky cases due to size, so the insurance adds peace of mind . I've never actually returned any phone any of us have had over the last 10 years due to dropping/water damage etc.

I bought one on release, a day later (before I had got round to updating my phone insurance to include it) it was stolen from my desk at work. Vodafone refused to cover insurance because they say insurance is only with phones bought in store, not online, Natwest refused to honour my phone insurance because it was still my old desire listed on there, and the company I work for their insurance didn't work either, apparently they're not insured against people walking in off the street and swiping stuff off the desk.

Crazy... so that was 500 just thrown away.
