Hey guys, android noob and first post. You have been warned

HTC Sensation. Love it. But whenever I try to make a call, either by phone or by Skype, AND I plug in my headset, it takes a few seconds and then it starts playing a song.

I've gone through all the settings but no help there. I've even flashed a ROM (Reverted), hoping I could wipe all user settings, but it's still happening.

Any tips?

On a related note: The phone refuses to take sound from the headset mic, it only hears the built in mic. Would that problem be related?

In the Music Player settings there is an option to start player when a headset is plugged in.
Not sure about the mic problem as I have not tried Skype.
