Default Google maps update crashes my Sensation

After the latest update of google maps 6.10.0 my phone keeps crashing whenever I am using the app. It also crashes when I am using navigation. It sucks cause I really use i a lot.
Anyone with a solution would make my day.

Yeh mine too, but I found a thread in a Google forum (Iím not yet allowed to post links) that advises to uninstall update ie settings>apps>Maps>uninstall updates. This resets Maps to factory version. I'm not sure yet how to just revert to the previous Maps update, but I've had Navigation going for . . . 47 mins now and no crash
Co-incidentally I've just done a (noob) Root on my phone so I thought I'd caused it.

same problem here, I was in need of the navigator and it was continuously making the phone reboot. I wanted to throw the phone againt a wall

checked on google's forum too.

Maybe is a compatibility problem within the new maps and the HTC sense ?

THANK YOU!!! I was ready to take a sledgehammer to my phone. Navigator started crashing my phone after getting the ice cream sandwich update. I removed updates from Google maps and it works fine now.

THANK YOU!!!
