Hi their , there are a number or free compass apps on the Market. simply search "Compass" on the market and you should see plenty
Theirs also some good facebook apps including the official app "Facebook for Android" & 3rd party such as "Babbler" , "Fbook" & Bloo. Hopefully these apps should be compatible resolution size on your tattoo

The Puny screen on the tattoo means that only apps that are built or updated to run on multiple resolutions are released on to the android market, Big players like facebook and skype should get on the wagon eventually, you can always try and make some noise and let them know how you feel about not being able to use their valuable services!
Sorry..... Dont have the skills to get an screenshot out of my Tattoo(yet!), but here's a link to hvow it looks like: Compass freeware for the Android phones

The quickest way, if there's still a "file downloaded" notification in your notifications area, is to click on it from there and install it.
If the notification has gone, launch the Market application and select downloads, it should be the third tab along the top. From there you can see what you've downloaded and you should have an option to install it. From here you can also update any applications that have had updates released.
