Default Google mail and android market

I recently bought a htc tattoo for my girlfriend, and the person who originally had the phone had already set up google mail, android market etc... Is there a way i can change this and set up a new account for my girlfriend? Was wondering whether a factory reset would erase all his account details and allow me to access googlr mail, cos at the moment its just showing his google address and i cant do anything with it? I would appreciate all the help possible cheers

Yep, sounds best to do a factory reset. This will get it back to "As New"

Does your girlfriend have a Google Mail account? If not, might be easiest to set one up online first.

To do a reset:

Programmes > Settings > SD card & phone storage > Factory data reset

Then when it restarts it will ask for the Google Mail account. Fairly simple. I did it a couple of times when I first got mine.

Hope this helps
