Software upgrade

Can anyone teach me how to upgrade my software for Tattoo 2.3 gingerbread version? Also I've tried installing LINE & VIBER but got an error message saying its not compatbile with my phone. The softare version on my hp is 1.6.

Hello Jan and welcome to Android Forums. An upgrade rev such that you suggest will always be pushed to your phone by your carrier. You need do nothing. If your phone is up for an upgrade.. you will get it. To change the rev you are running beyond an upgrade you will have to root your phone. To do that you will want to follow the All Things Root link at the top of the page and do your home work.
