Yeah if this is true Incredible Big Bro, I will be selling my Incredible (PM me if you are interested) and buying this. I don't want another phone, but a souped up Incredible would be SIIIIIICK.
I am on my 3rd Incredible due to speakerphone issues and the current one is going out. Doesnt like a dirty environment with metal dust it attracts to the magnet. Hopefully this is true and my 4th Incredible replacement could be the HD version even though i absolutely love the current Inc.

It certainly seems like an interesting phone.
I just hope HTC did something about improving the battery life...

So then whats your opinion on the Incredible HD/Mystery phone? Is it the big brother of the beloved Incredible? Or is it just the VEVO?
In my opinion, its a waste of time even thinking about. Again, just my opinion.
We have the best phone available to consumers, and I feel like I have barely even tapped the potential of it.
I can't think of 1 thing they can add that would justify my considering the costs involved in early upgrade. Faster processor? Dual-core? More megapixels? Better screen? I don't need any of it!
Give me a rooted Inc with a 3500, and lock me in a room lol, that's all I need!
People forget that newer and bigger is not always better. more processor typically means more battery usage .. and seriously, do I even need 1ghz?? Haha

I understand. But I have a 1750MAh. Battery Usage drain isn't a big deal. At first I hated the larger screen, but now I wouldn't mind it. I LOVE my DINC and unless this is branded as an Incredible HD. I probably wouldn't even do anything. 4" is the perfect screen size but I could def do a 4.3". I want the front came, a kickstand if it is that big (unlike the X) and the dual core (along with a potential 3.5G radio).
I would either trade the DINC in for $160 with Verizion or, hopefully, sell it for $200 minimum to someone who doesnt want to use an upgrade. I would then get it for the same price I got mine.
Again, I dont want a VEVO. And it may seem stupid but I only want it if its still branded Incredible. Did I mention I like shiny new things?
If my Inc had a FFC id probably try it, maybe use it occasionally. Not a make or break type of thing for me.
And im really not a fan of the big phones, which is surprising because i am a big guy (280, 6'2). The Inc and iPhone size seems to be perfect for me.
The added processor would be waste for me, since i usually run this one dialed down haha. I mean seriously wtf are we using all of this processing power for?? I could see if we had some intense EA games like the iphone has, but we really dont yet. And even then, wouldnt it be more dependent on the GPU or whatever? The iPhone does wonders with its 1ghz (assuming thats what it is)
Maybe its just me, or i have finally met my match, or something. But i really am honestly perfectly satisfied with my Inc even now, like 6mo later.
I also get bored very quickly with gadgets, and i crave the latest and greatest. In fact i work in Mobile Development, so i see a lot of it come across my desk and i really have no desires yet. When i get bored of the way my phone acts, i flash a new ROM. Or i tinker with new Radio/Kernal combo's, or try a new App, or toy with some settings.
Recently i have downloaded LauncherPro, SmartKeyboard, and HandcentSMS ... and have spent a few days tinkering with the settings, look & feel, behavior, etc.
Its like endless fun with this phone! But you get that with ANY android phone really, so what makes this phone perfect for me? I think the size is perfect, the screen is perfect (tho could be better in sunlight, but whatever), the speed is perfect, the touch capacitive sensors and accelerometer all work flawlessly, the call quality is outstanding, the build quality is flawless, etc etc etc. I really do love my phone.
I do despise my battery life, but its to be expected given all i use it for. As a trade-off i load up a 3500 and i am fine.
BUT i know i may just be a freak, and other people have their opinions.
Damnit i just ranted away and cant even remember what i typed haha, i think ill just hit submit button and hope for the best LOL!
No, can you suggest some titles? Im willing to pay, i dont care lol.
I remember them being pricey for some reason. I downloaded the flying one (hawx I think), the FPS they had and the racing one. Sorry the titles are slipping my mind.
I just stumbled upon an Incredible news flash that was rather compelling. I thought some of you may enjoy it as much as I did so I decided to share. What do you think?

This looks good to me, but so did the Fascinate lol
I'll be checking this out right when it comes out, hope it has a trackpad or joystick of sometime but doesn't look like it. Also hoping it uses the same battery that is in the EVO

I'd be fine without the track pad honestly. I find that the only time I use it is when I'm snapping a picture and for that I could just as easily use the volume rocker.

YEah Id love a side mounted button for the camera . But I personally use the joystick (honestly the trackball on the Eris is much better) I use it as a mouse for "phonemypc" I use it for editing doctuments, emails etc... It was gripe of mine with my week of using the Fascinate definetly not a deal breaker but would be nice if they kept it. I like what they have on the G2
Meh. I got the incredible because I didn't want a phone with such big of a screen. I'd rather get an "Incredible 2". :P
haven't heard about the incredible 2, but i got the incredible because its a bad ass phone and it was the best phone offered at the time. my friend has an evo and after playing with it i can say that it was not too big to carry around as a daily phone(for me anyways). i for sure wouldn't go any bigger though lol
