Don't both the ps3 and the xbox 360 support this? Least that is what I was told. I am hoping that next week I will be trying to figure out how to do it because we have one of each in my house.

Some BluRay players have DLNA as well - LG makes one that's just over $100. I only have a Wii, and if you have PlayOn it will stream DLNA to the Wii from your computer (albeit poor quality.)
Some Directv boxes are DLNA capable as well (mine is a 2009 HD DVR and it has DLNA). Look for MediaShare in the menu.
Many of today's HDTVs, such as the Samsungs or Sonys, have DLNA playing capability built-in. All you need is a media server to distribute pics, movies, and music to them.
Here's an overview of setting up a Sony, for example:
Now - instead of having a PC act as a media server, you can have your Android phone do it, with a DLNA server. Some phones come with one baked in - or you just add iMediaShare for Android | AppBrain.com
The HTC Media Link DLNA Adapter that maldroid mentioned is a wifi receiver on one side, DLNA firmware in the middle, and an HDMI cable for output.
I have a Sony BD Player that has this built in. I set my PC up as a DLNA server and have the DVD player connected through wireless.
The one major drawback to doing this is that I have found that you are limited to a very small number of video formats that will play via a DLNA server. I am still trying to find the one format that seems to work flawlessly.
It may just be a limitation of the BD player too. Dunno.

DLNA is basically UPnP. It has nothing to do with video encoding. If you're having playback problems, it's the limitation of the BD player.
The HTC Thunderbolt is the first ever 4G phone on Verizon Wireless. The name is no surprise... you can expect the Thunderbolt to have lightning speeds as the carrier ushers in a new era of mobile power.
