WIREFLY "special discount price" vs. VERIZON new-every-two discount
having never purchased anything from wirefly before... i assume that wirefly does NOT honor verizon's new-every-two discount. if that's the case how do their discount prices generally compare to verizon's pricing post-NE2 discount. tempted to jump on the wirefly pre-order but don't want to squander my last NE2 bucks. insight? opinions? anyone???
not sure if wirefly does this but when i was searching for a phone a while back all the places that sold the phone cheaper than msrp only had certain plans available the higher plans. i usually use the lowest talk plan but i couldnt get that plan at the stores that discounted the phone i wanted

Can you buy the full priced no-contract phones at Wirefly?

They definitely don't make any money by signing you up for the smaller data plans. The only reservation I have with going Wirefly for this phone is not knowing what my corporate discount would be and questions/speculation about the tiered data plan. Otherwise, their prices seem to be better than most others' prices.

There's just something about either ordering directly from VZW, or visiting a corp Store to buy that makes me feel very safe! No issues with returns or exchanges, etc...I'd rather pay the extra money for the piece of mind!
I always order mine on the phone with vzw and get the instant rebate and the phone the next day.
i've always done this too, but with a phone this pricey i am looking to minimize the damage. so basically i wuld get my NE2 discount AND a lower price from verizon? struggling to understand why, if this is the case, everyone doesn't do that. is there a "catch?"
One time I attempted to order a phone over wirefly, worst experience ever! The guy on the line barley knew any English. He also tried rushing me through the entire order process its was extremely sketchy and when I asked him why the phone is so cheap he couldn't give me a clear answer. I made it up to the point of giving him my credit card and he asked me about 3 times for it. I ended up telling to cancel my order completely.
You have to be very careful with Wirefly and Let's Talk. If you don't read the fine print very carefully, you could wind up with a $300 charge on your credit card. If you abide by their rules you're fine. Basically, all changes to your account for 180 days have to be done through them. If not, something like changing your rate plan or phone number would breach the contract.

How do they sell the phone for so much cheaper though?
Wirefly, BestBuy, Amazon and all others get $300 per account that sine up for 2 year. So are willing to give you $100 from there. They pay same price as everyone else for the phone.

What if they cosine or tangent you for 2 years, is it cheaper then?
The HTC Thunderbolt is the first ever 4G phone on Verizon Wireless. The name is no surprise... you can expect the Thunderbolt to have lightning speeds as the carrier ushers in a new era of mobile power.
