Default vzw website popup

how can it be disable tried this to no luck

An annoyance on the Verizon HTC Droid Incredible and Droid X is the V-Cast Manager web page appearing every time you plug the phone into your computer. There is a way to prevent it from popping up though.
Droid Incredible
Option 1 Disable the autorun feature on your computer.
Option 2 Disable it on the phone.
1. Open the phone app.
2. Dial ##7764726 and tap Call.
3. Enter the SPC password of 000000 (six zeros) and tap Verify.
4. Tap Feature Settings.
5. Select CD-ROM.
6. Select Disable.
7. Press Menu and commit modifications.

well option 1 would work i guess but i plug into so many machines it would be nice just to kill it off
