Default Just heard a Verizon Thunderbolt radio commercial

.....that listed one of the features of the phone as "video calling."

Am I missing something here, or is this blatant false advertising?

Wouldn't say it's false. You can download Tango and you're good to go for video chatting. False advertising is AT&T advertising the Atrix as a 4G phone and then capping upload speeds to that of slower than 3G speeds. THAT, my friend is false adversiting.

I would advise you NOT to download Tango.

Well my experience anyway, it drained my battery BEING IN MY POCKET in about 2 hours. And I couldn't hear the other user...just intermittent crackling.

Hopefully Skype mobile for TB is out soon.

Ive used Tango and it worked perfectly. Some people have had issues, others havent. The call quality sucks, but the ability is still there. Some people have had success with fring and ovoo as well as yahoo. They just need to hurry up and fix Skype. lol.

Can you advertise something as a feature that you can only get if you add 3rd party software without a disclaimer?? If it's printed they would usually use an asterisk, and then in small print at the bottom state you have to download something to make it work, or enable a certain feature for a price, etc.

This is probably left over from when phone was supposed to launch with Skype enabled, but if they cover that feature with stickers on a box, how can they still run a radio ad advertising that feature?
