Incoming Text Messages Split Up

Just downloaded the goSMS Pro app to replace the old goSMS app. Now, when I receive long messages, they get arrive in several small message "packets" of 10 to 20 characters. This happened when I first got the phone and installed goSMS, but a battery pull seemed to resolve it. Now, with goSMS Pro, I've tried 2 battery pulls and it's still splitting messages. Two things I've noticed - if a subject line is included,the message arrives intact; also, when it was working correctly, long messages arrived intact, but came in as mms.

Has anyone seen this before? Is there a way to configure incoming messages as sms or mms?

Have you checked the settings menu? I don't use GO, but I did at one point and IIRC, I think you can control what you're asking about.
