Wall charging bug

I have had my thunderbolt since launch day and usually charge it overnight connected to my computer. I've been getting great battery life after running green power and most of my usage says its display.

last night i used the wall charger for a change and today the battery was draining like mad and it said that the android system was taking 80% of my power over the whole day.

Has anyone experienced this bug and have any ideas as to what could have caused the problem? I had no changes to settings other then the difference in where i charged it last night.

I would bet money that the two are unrelated. The Android OS has no way to know how the charge got to your battery--that is handled by a whole separate circuit. Did anything on your system seem laggy or get stuck? I do not know what all Android System entails, so I cannot say what would do this.

I have a similar problem, in my case however, when I leave my phone charging via wall charger my phone battery will be dead by the morning. My problem however looks to be the charger itself, i used another charger (from another phone) and it works perfectly.

Have you tried another charger?

Was your phone warm?
