Ok. I am no newbie when it comes to rooting my phones. Although I would like to state that I am only interested in offcial roms that come over OTA that are slightly modified (debloated and pre-rooted). Custom roms aren't my shtick if you know what I mean. I am aware of a custom rom that has the HTC Sense 3.0 and GingerBread working on a ThunderBolt. Is there any way to get HTC Sense 3.0+ working on rooted devices without reflashing my phone to a custom rom? I only resort to custom roms when the phone becomes dead in the eyes of the official updates world, like my old D1. Any ideas? Or am I SOL?

only sense 2.1 is official for this phone.
if i were you,i would start flashing ROM's because IMO, this latest OTA will be the last one for this phone. even if it isn't you wont be getting 3.0 as HTC has stated it is not made for single core devices.

not really sure what you are asking, but sense 3.0 can only be had with a custom ROM for the time being and the foreseeable future.

I qas asking if there was any way to get it without flashing a completely custom Rom. I was already aware it wouldn't be officially released from HTC, bit you have answered my question in that the only way HTC sense 3.0 can be put on a TB is if it is packaged in a custom Rom.

Yes, there isn't another way to get an updated version of sense other than using a rom that has it ported over to work on the TB
