As long as the RIL isn't completely different from ICS to JB, someone will hack JB to work with the ICS RIL. Therefore we'll get JB, but no way is HTC/VZ gonna give it to us.

The last official statement said ICS in July-August. There are still people here saying that it won't get it despite the official statement.

Insofar as JB, I seriously doubt it. The Tbolt launched with Froyo, got the update to GB, and is scheduled for ICS. While JB is likely to breathe new life to the TBolt, I would not expect an official update.

Yeah, I won't hold my breath for JB. Although it'd be nice to see some custom ROMs based on it.

Jelly bean will be possible if we can get the ICS RIL. Liquid is busy working on Jellybean as we speak. He already has a Almost functioning ICS build, all we lack is data. The rest is 99.9% ready. ICS was 4.0, Jelly is 4.1 Not much changed except some eye candy and broke some mods the devs had
