Hotmail account Issue on HTC Vivid ?

Hey people just wondering if anyone has had an issue using HTC Vivid to send email using Hotmail account? I can send & receive email fine when using phone through WiFi but when I try Mobile data I can only receive email not send. I get a authentication error saying user name or password is incorrect. It only does this on my Hotmail acct. I have a gmail acct. which works fine on the phone... Any help would be appreciated. The phone is un-locked and I know if I call my provider they will say they don't support this phone...Thanks

I think it's probably the outgoing SMTP server.

When you're on WiFi you can use the default Hotmail SMTP server, but some mobile networks insist you use their SMTP server, for example for T-Mob in the UK I think it's something like smtp.t-email.co.uk.

Try Googling the details of the SMTP server for your network provider.

Looked into Virgin Mobile server settings but they don't seem to have any dedicated server settings...
