Can not load or update apps since new software installed

Since I updated the software in my Wildfire S to 2.26.401.3 a few days ago I have been unable to load or update apps from the google store.
The app goes through the process of loading but eventually I get a notification of error(500) or error(495).
I am online via WIFI.
Help !!!
