GMail query

I can't see my emails with GMail. The phone indicates a number of unread emails, but won't show them to me.
I suspect it's a storage problem; I have run the SD & phone storage wizard and done a de-frag, but the problem remains.
Can I delete emails/labels on my phone but retain them on my PC?
Does anyone have any suggestions, please?

It's OK; I've fixed it now - I had to delete an app that couldn't be moved to the SD card. GMail won't synch when storage space is low.

Is your phone rooted? If so, install titanium backup and use it to delete bloatware/un-wanted apps. You can also use it to move applications to sd. Be careful what you delete, it might mess/brick your phone. Of course, make a nandroid backup, just in case.
