Default Facebook profile picture deleted from "my profile" after contact transfer

Hi,

I'm new here so i'm not too sure how to approach this so sorry if the information is too specific but i need some help!

My phone was down to about 5mb and i needed to clear space. I came across a method where you back up your contacts to your sd card, clear data on your contacts storage and then import your contacts. I did this, managed to link all my contacts to facebook again and everything was fine. However the "my profile" on my people app would not sync my picture from facebook even though it synced my emailed address. I managed to fix this eventually somehow.

This is where it gets annoying. My contacts storage had recently creeped back up again so I did as I had done before and once again the picture refuses to resync onto "my profile" so when I am texting there is no picture - trivial but annoying.

I was wondering whether anyone had a solution? I'm pretty sure I resolved it the first time via reading a thread.

Thank you!
