Question Pricing gap question 129-229 ?

Checked the phones4u website today and the price of the Wildfire PAYG on O2 is listed £129.95. Same phone in Carphonewarehouse PAYG on O2 is listed £229.95. Would someone explain what's going on with the pricing? Is there a catch with the phones4u deal?

Went instore to Phones4U in Preston on Friday and got my White Wildfire on O2 for £129.95 no catch. Didn't have to buy the compulsory £10 top up as I was already on O2.

Went in to Three store prior to that and they were telling me they had sold out and were on sale for £300 , Told the guy i could get almost afford a Desire for that price and walked out, they must have been rubbing their hands together when whoever they sold that to walked into the shop.

Argos were also selling them online at £129 on Vodafone to collect instore.

The hardware of the HTC Wildfire isn't exactly 'jaw dropping,' but still great for an 'entry-level' handset for folks on a budget. Specs include a 5 MP camera with geo-tagging & auto-focus, 3.2" inch capacitive that sup... Read More
