Default HTC Wildfire WiFi, Poor Signal and keeps losing connection, HELP PLEASE.

Hi, I bought a HTC Wildfire for my girlfriend just before christmas and it is working great, the WiFi has not let her down once and after i seen how great the phone was i decided to buy one also in March.

My Wildfire has been working great since i got it however over the last two months ive noticed the WiFi has become very poor on it. The signal keeps dropping and it is always at the very last bar on the signal bar. I thought i might have been my router in the beginning although my Girlfriends phone always has a full WiFi connection in my house so i know for definite it is not the router and it is indeed my phone.

Which brings me to the question is there a manufacture defect on some wildfires if my phone has a poor WiFi connection all the time on any network. Even my o2 mobile internet is poor compared to my girlfriends even though we have the same bolt on.

Any Help Would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi I have exactly the same problem. My HTC Wildfire worked fine but developed a problem in last month where it keeps dropping off the network. Sometimes I search and it gives me no networks (I know they are there as my other phone on same network is working fine), sometimes I have no permission to register with the network, sometimes just nothing. It's driving me crazy! It's not the SIM (checked in another phone), not the network (according to Orange) so why did it suddenly stop working? Anyone out there help? Thank you!

The hardware of the HTC Wildfire isn't exactly 'jaw dropping,' but still great for an 'entry-level' handset for folks on a budget. Specs include a 5 MP camera with geo-tagging & auto-focus, 3.2" inch capacitive that sup... Read More
