This is an Accend II with cricket. When we got the phone the bars would be green a lot. The 3G would also be green mostly. Now they are always white and text messages are often missed. Never arriving at the phone.

So my question is what does these 2 icons changing to white mean.

I believe the bars change color during different states of data transmission,w/white or a gray color representing no data transmission.

Even during a phone call the bars are remaining white.

The 3G was green and then the arrows above would flash green showing data transmission.

The manual is no help. I have read that cricket limits data but I didn't think that applied to regular calls.

I will try to follow up with a picture.
