Default Lag issues - huawei ascend p1

Hello i would like to ask, when i try to play a video on my huawei ascend p1 the playback isnt smooth and the video lags a bit, same when i try to play NFS most wanted. The device is new.
May the problem be that i just copied movie files i have in my PC to the device without any resolution changes? I thought the hardware should be strong enough to deal with these issues...
Thanks in advance! (and merry christmas)

I wish I could answer your question Danielsarf but I've not used your phone. I don't know what resources you have at hand or how your vids should play on the P1. I hope a member with your phone will have some answers for you. I did want to drop in and extend a welcome to Android Forums. Thanks for joining and I hope you find the information you seek.

Huawei Ascend P1 have a huge hardware resource, of course it can play video and game HD with good result. I've already try it and everything work fine.

I'm worry your Ascend P1 have background process who take a lot of resources. If you want to make it sure, try to factory reset your Huawei Ascend P1 and at the first time try to play you video and play some HD game, I'm sure everything will work good. Let's us know, thank's

Have to say I haven't had any issues with this. It might be that the file you are playing isn't totally compatible with the phone. try downloading a Codec pack like MX player from the Play store see if that helps.

Default Lagging p1

Had mine a fortnight and used MX player successfully but agree there a lot of background processes . Rooting and using Clean Master has done the trick so far . Incidentally XBMC works great on the P1 but I was recommended to uninstall MX player first because they conflict .

The Huawei Ascend P1 is the slightly thicker version of the Huawei Ascend P1 S. The "S" version was launched as a super thin premium option, but besides thickness, the two phones share nearly identical specs including a 4.3-inch Super AMO... Read More
