Hellllppp! My huawei is stuck on the android screen.......
Hello everyone I am new to this forum, but have found a lot of information on this page helpful and hopefully can cure my problem. I followed the below steps according to someone that posted here. The phone did in fact reboot after it was finished however it is now stuck on the black screen with the word ANDROID across it but it is stuck! PLEASE HELP!! BTW my service is through Metro PCS not Cricket
reverting back to stock, ok power down the phone and download and extract this to your desktop MetroStockRecovery-SCRIPTS.zip after you done that press and hold vol down, end key and tap power, your phone should be on the white huawei screen and it should stay there plug your phone to the computer via usb cable, now open the folder that you extracted and run both of these file, first run fastboot-windows you will see a black box come and leave quick, next run metroPCSStock-windows.bat than another black box will pop up and it will do its thing, once it finishes the phone will automatic reboot itself.
Device(s): Huawei Ascend-PlayfulGod's CM7.2 0912 @729

You're stuck in a boot loop. Pull the battery out for a couple minutes then put it back in and reboot. If it does it again redo what you did before again.
when i try to reboot my huawei ascend it just stays on the white screen. im trying to reboot it so that i can upgrade te software to a 2.2
Hi, welcome to the forums! Are you sure you are pushing the right button combination? It sounds like you might have put it in fastboot mode. Take out the battery for a few minutes and put it back in, and see if it boots up.
Device(s): Huawei Ascend M860 (Defunct, coworker bricked the phone by her boot).
Carrier: Not Provided

You can upgrade to 2.2 using the Software Upgrade in Settings, don't need to go into the boot menu, phone can do it for you.
If you're trying to do a hard reset using the stock, I believe you power it on while holding down volume up, call and power. From there you can pick the update via update.zip in the Android Boot Menu.
i tried reverting back to stock i followed the steps and download link from nuttmeg but when i ran the files my phone didnt reboot itself.
i already tried (vol+ vol-,end key, power)which takes me to a black screen with an android and an exclamation mark and stops there, and(vol-,power)which takes me to
polling, get_mode =1
polling, get_mode =1
polling, get_mode =1
i have no idea what to do i cant find ANY helpful info online
please help!

your phone has to be in fastboot by pressing and holding Vol Down, End Key and tap Power, than let it go after a few secs, and it should stay on the white huawei screen. And if you have a card reader you can download the 2.2 update and extract the dload folder to the sd card and put the sd card back in your phone and press, Vol up, End key, and tap power and it should start unpacking and installing 2.2 on its on, and your phone will reboot a few times and all should be good in about 10 to 15 minutes tops.

lol I love that people are still fiddling with the Ascend. It was my first Android phone and one of my all time favorites, mostly because of the folks in this forum.
Look through the stickies here and you'll find pretty much any question answered. And CM7 is a must. SO much quicker than stock.
The Huawei Ascend is MetroPCS and Cricket's extremely affordable Android handset, coming in at $150 off-contract. For that kind of money, don't expect much in terms of bang for buck. You'll get a 3.5 inch HVGA display, a 3.2 megapixel c... Read More
