Notsure What is wrong with my phones GPS/Location, thing?

I try to use the 'check in' feature for my FB app, and all I see is a phone(I think), giving signal to something? But thats all it does. It never finds anything. Then on the 'places' app, from Cyanogenmod 6, it does the same. It says my location is currently unavailable. But its been like that for a while. Is there a way to fix this?

If you want your location shared w/FB or whoever, you may need to enable GPS in your settings or maybe even check the box for sharing your location in your phone's browser settings.
