i read a similar post above which had no answer, except to say an upgrade to froyo removed the "clear download history" selection ???

why would you/they do that?

all that being said, how do i clear the download history on my huawei ascend?

i also noticed that the upgrade to 2.2 froyo removed voice recorder, why?

will/does an upgrade to gingerbread(k) return those options?

I don't know about the download history thing, I've never even seen the Metro 2.2, but there should be some voice recorder apps in the market.
