Ok I know I know I've seen a thousand posts it seems like on this issue. Mine is a little different. For some reason my daughter used the Password lock rather than pattern lock millions of options for her password I know for a fact all her contacts are backed up on her sd card and I can just factory reset but can that be done without knowing the password ? I've tried the one that I found on forums but it didn't work any other options or suggestions ?

Turn off the phone. Hold volume down and the back button and tap the power button.

Keep holding the other two and you will get to the recovery system.

Select "wipe data/factory reset" all done!
