Has anyone successfully used qpst on this device to make the 3G faster, I did on my admire but I cannot get it to work for the Ascend

it allows you to edit your cdma network settings but i cant seem to get it to work correctly with the ascend. i have my samsung admire running at anywhere from 800kb/s to 1.4 mb/s

I remember someone was talking about that on an old thread... Don't remember if they were ever able to accomplish anything though, and I no longer have my Ascend so I can't try it out. Hopefully someone who knows more will be able to chime in...

And I'm assuming you already tried the search function...?

Yea I tried it. :-( Did not work. After the reboot with it on "simple", data would never come on.

I'll try a few things and post results when I get them I have an admire but my gf has the ascend and so does one of my coworkers
