Use my M835 for internet on my computer

Is there an app for the M835 that allows tethering or to make my phone a wifi hotspot?

Has nobody successfully tethered their M835 with a laptop... i have a Mac Book. not sure if the os makes a difference for connection .

I used PDAnet for a time, but with 1xRTT for signal, it makes for a relatively slow connection at times.

If you have no internet, it isn't bad, just expect speeds of about Satellite Internet. :P

yo puedo con lg esteem trabaja muy bien tambien tengo un huawei835 pero aunno lo e intentado antes de usar el pdanet tengo k hacerle el root a este cel yo al lg si se lo pude hacer espero tener una buena sugerencia ya k es 3g gracias

I'm sorry, but you're not allowed to use MetroPCS' Data Connection for tethering as it could cancel your service with Metro and also, I do tether at times for Linux, but I use my Home WiFi Connection for the internet source as my other sources don't work until I install their drivers

I actually didn't know that... I didn't use it very much, and they must not have caught me, because nothing happened... I now have an iPhone though(not my choice), so i can't tether unless I jailbreak :-\

You could try a application called FoxFi. Your phone doesn't have to be rooted for this. I use to use it all the time.
