Default SDHC Compatible?

I was looking to replace my broken 32gb Ipod Touch and broken with a droid and bought the huawei mercury and ordered a 32 gb sdhc to fit my music library. Will the card work with my my phone? If so, will it slow it down at all (in terms of downloading, uploading, reading, etc.)?

I think it supports up to 32GB. Speeds would depend on what class of card you get, class 10 being the fastest. I would suggest at least a class 4 or 6 for a card that big.
