I was afraid of something like this happening... without a working recovery like CWM.
At this point, the only thing I can suggest is to do a factory reset.
Let us know if you need any help doing it.

To all that want to root on the Hydro - it might be best to wait until one of us figures out how to get a working recovery on this phone.
I've been trying for days now, and quite frankly, I'm in over my head on this one.

Give it some time.... someone will crack it soon enough. We've waited this long... a little longer won't hurt.

Turn your phone off. Then press and hold both volume down and power buttons for at least 10 seconds... select "wipe data/factory reset"

It shouldn't... but to play it safe (I would), pull your SD card after you turn it off. (before you factory reset the phone)

Sounds like something that Beats Audio did. It should work again after you reset.

A factory reset should overwrite the BA drivers.
Have you reset yet?

Pull the battery, let it sit for a bit, and then try to boot again

From Kyocera's website;

"BRING UP THE SYSTEM RECOVERY TOOL

1. Remove the battery and return it after 1 minute.
2. Press and hold the volume down button (at the left side of the phone) then press and hold the power button. Wait for the front keys to light up and the Kyocera screen to appear. Release the buttons after that (you will see a large Android icon with the System Recovery Tool).
3. There will be three options on the screen; Reboot System Now, Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Wipe Cache Partition.

RESET THE PHONE

Wipe Cache Partition

1. Press the volume down button until “wipe cache partition” is highlighted.
2. Press and hold the lower volume button then the power button to execute it

Note: If the phone turns off, you have not done it properly. Proceed to Bring up the System Recovery Tool.

Wipe Data/Factory Reset

1. While “reboot system now” is highlighted, press and hold the volume down button to highlight “wipe data/factory reset” then press the power button to execute
2. Confirm wipe of all data by highlighting “no” directly above the “yes” then press and hold the volume down button to highlight “yes”, then the power button.

Select Reboot System Now

1. Press and hold the volume up button while “reboot system now” is highlighted and then press the power button to execute.
2. The phone will power down and power on which usually takes longer than the usual depending on the amount of data that was wiped out.

Caution: Resetting the phone will delete all the user-added data."

Hope this helps...

Did you install it all to /system? If so you are screwed without a lot of work. This is why if you don't even know how to factory reset a phone you shouldnt be pushing anything at all to system

Ok, I made the same stupid mistake and ignored the backup warning. I'm lucky however and my brother just bought a brand new matching phone a few days ago. I'm zipping the sys folder now and will post it if this works. BTW this will be a zip for the Rise but from what I understand they're the same phone aside from the keyboard.

The graphics drivers are a little different so somethings might be a little weird

Default complete file tree maybe?

i also waqsn't paying attention when installing beats and damn if it didn't give me the same probs as on this thread.
i think i may have found system files for the hydro, but unfortunately i don't really know what i'm looking at. could anyone with the know take a look and maybe if they are, point out the audio drivers and specify where on the phone they should go to replace the bad "beats" drivers?
i can't post links yet so lets see what i can do.
github dot uknow, forward sl, hroark13, /hydro_kernel/tree/master/sound/drivers
of course this is past the start but i'm sure one who know can backtrack and find what is needed.
i hope this helps all.
and thank you to whoever takes this on and helps us idiots.

Over on the rise side there is someone who used the hydro files and things were upside down on certain things no auto-rotate, etc.....

So what I'm trying to say it might work but not everything but its better than no phone

Also please new members please add what phones and carrier you have in your profile. Easier if you did because a lot of rise and hydro users post in each others sections do to phones being sisters. Make it easier to help anyone that needs help without the 20 questions. Thanks in advanced.
