Cool [Theme] DarkMatterAndroid - Galaxo 1.6.3.x

DarkMatterAndroid

I started modifying inFECT's DarkSense2.1 to green version and ended up with a theme you might enjoy too.

Includes wysie contacts, super circle battery.

Changelog:
1.0
Initial release

1.1
-Added AWD 1.1.5 default
-some icons&buttons changed
-semitransparent popups

1.1.1
-fixed popup center
-changed progressbar to green

1.2
-more icons changed
-changed clock widget&some bg
-themed AWD(search widget and some icons)
-music removed(headset bug, I recommend MortPlayer)
-slightly transparent menu
-less transparency on the popups

1.3
-new background for notifications
-some more new icons to unify the styles
-new superbattery style

Thanks:
dica, abesh and inFECT for inspiration and graphics from theme's
Drakaz&co for work on galaxo and gaosp.

Download Link for galaxo
Download Link for gaosp !!experimental!!

How to install: (Use at your own risk!)
The DarkMatterAndroid Theme is compatible with Galaxo 1.6.3.4 / GAOSP beta3
It is not tested on other ROMs.
- Copy the theme to your root directory on the internal SDCard.
- Boot in Recovery Mode and fix the permissions.
- Use the "apply any zip" option and choose the Theme.
- Reboot.
How to remove:
Use inFECT's back2galaxo/back2gaosp and proceed with the steps above.

It's amazing how much mis-understanding there is on this topic. I believe inFECT has stated publicly that his theme does NOT support the JIT. At least, not in the last 2.0 version.

InFECT,

Please, pretty PLEASE support JIT. <14-year old girl whining voice> We NEED it !!!!

No, you dont need it :-P Trust me.

What you need is GAOSP Beta which will also be the release date of Dark Sense 2.2 for Froyo.

Making DS compatible with jit for galaxo is pain. I tried it and gave up. Also, the jit hack is very dirty, so drakaz told me its waste of time and effort supporting it.

Someone here, cant remember the nick right now, made a jit hack comptaible framework. Maybe i gonna take this and release a DS Light version, based on his framework.

Good enough for me, I withdraw my request. < becomes a politician pretending nothing happened >

You lost me on one point - I thought, that GAOSP was already in it's 2nd or 3rd Beta ? The only thing preventing me from jumping in is that lack of camera support.

Also, there's a release date for GAOSP ? When ???

Camera works on the latest nightly and camcorder to. Of course there are some effects included in the build and still little more effects to come (just a few). Give it a try you will not loose anything, except gain a valuable experience.

EDIT: Yes, we are expecting the Beta release and that's #3 BETA of GAOSP. The nightly are just a nightly releases of GAOSP which are in-between ALPHA and BETA versions. The latest nightly is quite close to beta release.

Hi Shorrack

Must say this theme is what Im sticking to these days. There's something about the color black

Just a small request.
Could you just make the lock screen area (The part which shows Network Name, Time etc when the screen is locked) a bit transparent

Also PS : Any new themes in the offing ... Getting a bit overboard :-p

sgx100,

In your picture, what are the top 2 icons on the top left of the notification bar? I don't recognize them.

Wish I had known of SystemPanel earlier. I'm guessing you're using the paid version? the free-market version doesn't have any icon on the notification tray.

I'll take anyone's help from here.
I just hope there isn't any xml editing involved :P

All guides I found on the net are either to cupcake or lower / eclair and up.

Does anyone know if the ic_jog_dial* are to the eclair styled lockscreen and can that work with donut? And I'm guessing simply putting the images into the framework-res.apk aren't enough.

AWD 1.1.5 which is now included in the zip.
Also I already found a serious glitch with the popup's, alert dialog's middle part is out of scale everything works ok, thankfully.

Found the xUltimate Draw9Patch Compiler and this awesome guide: https://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AcdxIJRSH9ypZGZzc2pxNDlfMjdnazk4OHNxZA& hl=en

Havin said that, workin on fix and finishin some other tweaks that was in process. v1.1 was more of a milestone release.

I installed 1.3.rc3 and everything in fine and beautiful. But for some reason my Elisa mobile data connection doesn't work, wifi is fine. When booting there isn't that operator screen any more, is that normal?

Sounds like issue with network connectivity rather than prob with theme.
Check APN settings that they're ok. Haven't experienced this kind of prob before even with odd basebands.

Just realized I had never commented on this... well, good job!

If you want me to edit the thread title (to include GAOSP for example), just ask it here or send me a private message and I'll be glad to change it to whatever you want.
