Hello collective rooting geniuses,
Camera defect on my phone means I have to (again) warranty replace.
I'm currently S-OFF, running the Virtuous 2.2 build (and love it). I've also been going between cyanogen 6 and skyraider 3. I never downloaded alternative kernels.
Needless to say, I'd like it back to stock conditions before I mail it back.
Plan right now:
Step 1, follow these directions to get back to stock radio/2.1
How to downgrade back to 1.00 radio and .77 HBOOT for the OTA (S-OFF ONLY!!!) - xda-developers
This will leave me with S-OFF, however, and I assume I need to fix this.
Step 2: follow the unrevoke-forever undo steps under the FAQ here:
public:forever [RootWiki]
Sound like a plan?
I'm not certain I can do the unrevoke-forever un-do without having clockworkmod (which I think I'll loose in step 1), so I'm a little afraid I'm about to get stuck with S-OFF.
Any thoughts appreciated!
