Default 2.2 Root?

So a friend just received his new Inc, and immediately took the upgrade, so now he's sitting at stock 2.2. I'm thinking the answer is no, but want to confirm that there is no way to root 2.2, or to revert back to 2.1 so he can root, right?

Thanks,
Doc

I believe that unless he had s-off then he will have to wait. But I could be wrong on that. But Im sure the Devs will have 2.2 rooted before long.

Root? - Not yet Give it a week or two and there will be a way.

Revert back? - Yes, but it seems like a PITA to me. What's wrong with his 2.2? Why does he want to root?

Nothing wrong with his 2.2, but it'd be nice to turn off the bloat and have root.

Thanks for the 2.2->2.1 downgrade link, didn't realize it was possible!
