Default Do all the Froyo bugs exist in Froyo ROM's?

tons of bugs have been reported with stock ota froyo, including bad battery life, slow charging, general bugginess, etc

do these also exist with stable froyo rom's that I could install by rooting?

slowcharging - yes(on all 2.2 roms, official or the real one), but can be cured with kings latest kernel
battery life... i personally haven;t noticed much difference, but most people say it gotten worse... but then again i have a seidio battery
i havent experienced a single bug\issue with anything else.

IMO opinion froyo with its iffy battery life is still better then 2.1

I'm currently on skyraider 3 vanilla and cycled through 2.52 vanilla, jagerrom, and cyanogen 6.0.1 before that. Every rom seemed to have slower battery charging than 2.1. Since I've been on skyraider (both versions), I've had terrific battery life. It's a noticeable improvement. As far as general bugginess- I haven't had much trouble with skyraider (or jagerrom) but cyanogen gave me a lot of problems.

It would certainly be interesting to hear from some people who use Ruby or Virtuous, though.

I hope this helps!

I use Adrynalyn's Second Wave ROM. Can't say I've found any bugs. Very nice, stable build. I've tried almost every rom but Cyanogen. I keep coming back to the Second Wave Rom for it's stability. Even when I customize the ROM with Metamorph, etc. it is stable.

Frankenrom has been all but glitch free for me. We were experiencing many of these same bugs running leaks and the devs made patches for them and integrated them into their roms and/or kernels. This is why I will always stay rooted and flash my way forward. Our devs are smarter than HTC/Verizon staff. Plus going backwards is a PIA and causes unnecessary issues for a lot of people.
