Hey guys, whats up.
so i decided to try out the Ruby rom today so i backed up my current rom and flashed it.
i dont like ruby so i wet to restore the backup i made of my old rom(stock 2.2+root) and im getting a MD5 mismatch...
not sure how that could have happened. is there anything i can do to get my data and datadata back?
thanks guys,
Kevin
I'm NOT saying this to rub salt in the wound but in the future, you might consider running Titanium Backup or similar in addition to Nand. Nice to have that double wall of security for apps at least, plus Nand backups take a lot of space whereas Titanium only saves the most recent restore. So you can do it frequently and always be in the game without using tons of card space.

hey same thing happened to me. did you rename the backup folder by any chance? after creating my Nandroid backups I went and renamed my folders. apparently some characters are not accepted for these folder names.
if you did then make sure the folder names have no spaces or punctuation. I had one called "Stock 2.1" that kept giving me MD5 errors until I renamed it to "Stock21"
