Anyone know where I can get some detailed instructions for creating a SD Ext 4 partition? Is this something easy to do in Windows? I'm running Ubuntu mainly so if there are ways to do it in there that would be good too.

Ya, if you head over to XDA and install AmonRA recovery instead of Clockwork there is actually an option in the recovery menu to partition an SD Card with EXT4. The thread is in the Incredible section under Android Development and should be on the first page.
