Default ROM Development?

Hey guys

I was wondering, for a noob, where can I go to learn how to design my own ROM? I mean, I am not a noob in the complete sense of the word, I know what I'm doing for the most part, I'm just interested in learning if this is something I could do on my own. Any resources you can give me would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

I would start by getting an account over at xda-developers Thats where all the technical magic goes on.

This is about as easy as it will get for a noob. I was making my own WinMo roms, but android is totally new to me. Start at this link, you will be cooking your own rom in a couple of hours. Be sure to check out the video tutorial at the unlockr.com
