Froyo, Tweaked and Enhanced
*Updated*
Why spend the time removing the crapware and applying fixes when its already done for you.
This is nothing special. It doesn’t have a fancy name like SkyFroyo, Refrozen, or whatever. The build.prop doesn’t say by “insert name”.
This is just a rom I use for myself that I thought others may, or may not, enjoy.
There is not a question as to whether you should wipe before installing, just dooooooo it.
OTA leak must be installed prior to this rom if you want working camera and camcorder.
Changes from stock leaked Froyo:
Market fixed!
Gmail fixed!
streaming audio quality fixed!
Added default Droid ringtones and notification.
zipaligned.
Stock messaging app from Cyanogenmod. All credit to Cyanogen and team.
Removed stocks apk, and widget.
Removed footprints.
Removed lame Verizon drivers prompt when connected via USB.
Removed visual voice mail and all icons associated with it (including voicemail icon in app drawer).
Removed backup assistant (do not try to setup from setup wizard!).
Removed 3g hotspot (Included working wifi tether app).
Removed skype.
Removed my Verizon app.
Removed city ID properly.
Wake on trackball added.
Tweaked internal app killer/memory manager.
Removed amazon mp3.
Busybox installed.
Superuser 2.2.2 installed.
Issues:
-------
Calendar isn't syncing for some lame reason.----Fixed.

Aw Adryn, you beat me to it, this was going to be my project tonight. Thanks a ton! Damn job keeps getting in the way of my play time...
Can you check out system panel in yours with the mem tweaks and see if the CPU clocks under 700MHz?

Could you please share how to remove Skype? I can't find it with adb.
I'm right where I want to be except for that.

The one thing I HAVE noticed so far is the boot is at least twice as fast as it used to be. That's awesome but I no longer have enough time for my Doctor Who Intro boot :-P Though I do need to modify this new stock boot animation if I want to keep it. That eye really needs to loop.
Did a boot wipe, reinstalled (the one you posted), testing...

I just added the Espresso Bar to my otherwise stock Froyo ROM and now my picture and video galleries force close when activated. Does that Bar only work with your modified Froyo, or is there a step I missed? I just applied the .zip from recovery.

I did a factory reset and reinstalled again and this time got 798. I'm going to leave it for right now and see how terrible battery life is tonight. If it's as bad as I expect Sense is going to make it I'm switching back to cm6 test8. If the battery life is alright I'll stay here for now for the better camera and working camcorder.

The streaming audio fix seems to be the culprit in the decreased Quadrant Benchmark. I ran the unmodded/tweaked 2.2 ROM and scored 1200ish. Then I applied the streaming audio fix to the leaked ROM (not adynalyne's) and the score now sits at around 800. Everyone who's applied the audio fix independent of any flashing has seen this decrease.
Just to be sure, I reverted the build.prop back to stock and the benchmark jumped back to 1200's

I am having the same issue: Leaked Stock Froyo, Radio Updated, Market Fix applied
It says process com.htc.album has stopped unexpectedly. Can confirm this was not like this before adding this.

Yeah I'll have to look at the other issue later.
Its not as clearcut as before, because Froyo changed a lot in the Rosie resources.

Ok, I fixed calendar sync issue. The cost was that the rom is no longer deodexed but the rest still remains the same. Uploading now. I will also be adding an update later that will allow folks to run a script that will enable and disable the audio stream fix at will. That way when listening to Pandora, etc. you can enable it and games, etc. you can disable it.

Sure, you can use the Espresso Bar but it crashes Rosie on the gallery I think. Unless, you look at it in landscape.

Okay, first i installed the wrong version and phone got stuck in a boot loop, lol,
Nandroid to the rescue, second time worked a lot better with the right version.
Gallery does indeed crash in potrait mode, any idea what that is? i love the bar tho, i can deal the the gallery lol
Many thanks for doing that, does the espresso bar not crash the gallery in your rom?
If so i might have to try it.
thx again

No, it crashes here as well. I have a feeling it doesn't crash in my vanilla rom though I've not tried it.
I will try and sit down and figure out what the deal is later today. This is not a cut and dry port like it was for 2.1, a lot of things in Sense changed under the hood.
Edit: Did I really say that? Don't try that on the vanilla rom, LOL. Dang, I need to get more sleep or something.
