Ok this is for those who have the OTA radio (version 2.xxx.xxx) Yes this is actual Froyo 2.2 completely deodexed with working 8 meg camera and 720p video recorder. I will be refining this as time goes on. Almost everything is included in this rom minus HTC Lockscreen and Sense Launcher and the Sense widgets. The City ID app yu see is not Verizons so have no fear. This has all the fixes rmk has posted. Thanks again.

i keep getting weird FC's with titanium back up, and its keeps asking me for SU privileges over and over and over again
I'm not using this rom, but if you press the "Problems?" button on the app and let it download and install the new version of BusyBox it should work better.
The superuser request problem has been fixed as well as the gmail problem. As for the use of hydra kernels they will not work on any 2.2 roms (straight from the person who makes them) and before you ask there will not be any untill the source of the kernel is released and once that happens he will have some tasty ones for us. I am uploading a rom right now, and will be monitoring this thread for problems as well as adding links for updates..... Not sure how everyone feels about me taking out some of the apps but for you I felt it was easier untill we figure out how to get the data app working in 2.2 . I am collecting bootanimations and will have them availible for you to flash via clockwork recovery. I will let you know when the upload is finished and tested.

Okay, so I'm a noob to rooting, and still debating on using this rom. I've had my Dinc since day 1, but just recently started working on tweaking my phone. Yesterday I switched to Launcher Pro Plus, and like it so much better than Sense.
I know I could just wait for the OTA 2.2 update from VZW. But I'm kinda anxious to try something new. And I just did my quadrant score (559), which was kinda depressing. But I'm still a little hesitant.
It's nice to see that the camera & 720p are working. But what isn't working? What's still buggy? Are Wifi & bluetooth working? Gmail? Calendars still syncing? I'm just trying to get as much information as possible before taking the big jump.

I have flashed just about every rom that comes out. I get to play around all day for 8 hours. So I have the best luck with htis one. My battery was fully charged at 4:59pm yesterday. listened to an audio book for 45 minutes, played robo defense for 20 minutes or so, checked email, used the phone (didn't even know this device can be used as a phone, lol) and had Pandora wake me up and my battery is still going strong at 45 -50%. Its 9:50am SWEET!!!!!
The only item that bugs me is the application audible (I know it is beta, I am in no way blaming Jager for this!!!!) it seems to play the book but once I pause it the app FC's. Just some info, nothing needs to be done.
quick question for people running this ROM...
I've been playing with CM6 and some other froyo ROMs, all with the 1.xx radio. I've got a few NANDROID backups still chilling on my SD card from those days. Now that I've flashed the new 2.xx radio and am running the new 2.2 JagerRom, can I still go back and forth between NAND backups (1.xx and 2.xx radio)? I've been scouring the forums and I haven't seen anything definitive about this yet...
Unfortunately I am running into this exact problem. It really makes the phone unusable because it'll pop up asking for SU permissions no matter what app I'm running. I'll try reinstalling Titanium and restarting. As much as I like Cyanogen, I want to try something new, and seeing how Jager's benchmarks were I'd love to have this work out.
Edit: Hm, it seems to have fixed itself right after I posted this. Maybe it's a come and go thing. I'll come back if it starts up again. One other thing, however. When I'm on the home screen and drag down the middle of the screen it brings down the notification bar. Is this supposed to happen? I notice that if I drag up it hides the top bar, which is nice, I like to be able to have an option. But shouldn't dragging down simply make the bar reappear instead of bringing down the whole menu?
Edit 2: Ergh, sorry, I just realized these might be gripes for ADW Launcher and not the rom itself. Sorry, and thank you!

Wow! Very impressive. I have been running Sense ROMs for the past month, but this is very nice. I think I will say goodbye to Sense for a little while.
Anyone have issues with GPS working? I have had it running for 10 minutes and i still could not find a signal. I love the fact that people work so hard on these roms to give out, but what is the point of a rom with no gps?
Update: Im confused so i figure the GPS does work because i can get google maps to display my location and even map out directions, but the turn by turn nav just keeps saying waiting for location..... This rom is my favorite so far but without turn by turn im lost =(

Just adding my $0.02 for MMS. I tried the fix that was working for some people with the Evo test rom and no mas. Also that keyboard problem I reported earlier was only present on the phone setup screen.
Overall I'm quite happy with this rom though, thanks again!
As for the Wiimote, if I happen across one I'll let ya know. Curious about this myself. Still wanna snag a bluetooth controller of some flavor.
You can check if a wiimote will work by trying to init with the app. If it says bluetooth not found, you have your answer.
I only ask so that I don't have to waste time downloading, flashing, finding out it doesn't work, flashing my backup, and sobbing into my pillow for all the mintues of my life I've lost.
having issues with gps and titanium as well. dl'd link from op, also saw 2.2 in rom manager, but when i click it... the screen is blank and says jagerrom on the top bar.

Edit rom manager is fixed. shows 2.2 version 3. is that the same as the one in the op? im gonna flash v3 and see if that has the fixes in it. thanks for all your hard work capt.
\edit 2! hahahahahahahahahahahaha there is def 2 diffrent versions. that boot animation on v3 is histerical! scared me at first, as i was not expecting it cause i walked away from my phone while it was flashing... great sense of humor! gonna test out this rom tonight.

im also having problems with the mms....also with wireless tether...my computer cant connect to it and im always having to allow the superuser request when i start it and stop it..didnt have a problem with wireless tether before? is there something im missing? thanks and great rom!!

wow! i take that back! i guess the battery meter is broke. played about a one minute video and it went from 100% to 80%. whoa
edit again: battery time says 88% jager meter says 80%. still, i'd say no good effect on battery life

You can just move or rename the sound. I'm pretty sure you can do it with the OS loaded too. It's most likely in /data/local and it's most likely androidaudio.mp3 if memory serves.
