Anybody else having a problem with internal storage not showing up and gmail calender and facebook contacts not syncing properly? I'm on the 0.10.29.1 build. On build 0.10.22.0, it says that they fixed internal storage.
Im Hoping this is just me but my GPS does not work. When I go into Navigation it just says Searching for GPS haha. I am on the most recent one of 10.29.1 with the screenshot Patch

Search through the XDA forum, you might find an answer. 29.1 fixed it for me and a lot of others.
This rom is incredible! But..... I cant get my contacts back either through verizon_BackupAssistant (that I loaded the apk for), or through Titanium backups.

Any ideas?
On your old ROM (you did a nandroid backup, right?), go to your contacts, menu, Import-export, exort to SD card. Then flash your new rom, go to contacts, menu, import.

I wish this rom didn't hate me so much... I tried it 3 times( different updates) and everytime I do it I have FC of the launcher after reboot and I can't even use the phone... did fresh installs of everything from the market nothing via titanium and minimal apps and it still just wont work... I'll try again in a few days if there is another update... I had a nandroid of one that worked but when I did a restore most of my apps were missing for some reason

Reloaded the rom and got my GPS working. Iv been using this rom sense the day it was released onto these forums. I dont even look back to Sense or Vanilla. This is just too good. built in wifi tether....Great Battery life. Sexy Look. Smooth and amazing. I <3 this rom.
I like this ROM, especially the settings in Notifications.
Two things are keeping me from having this as my standard ROM:
-Gallery (give me the old gallery, this one has problems loading drocap screencaps)
-Camera (i prefer the standard camera)
This rom is absolutely amazing. The battery life smokes sense and so does the layout. Everything is so smooth!!! Ever since the last update I haven't had one problem. For anyone who hasn't tried this and wants to I strongly encourage it. I won't be using another rom until something overtakes the performance of this rom.
Just curious, are you guys using this ROM with launcherpro or another launcher, or just standalone. Each time I load it up, I end up going back to skyraider the same or next day because I feel like I'm not getting everything out of it that I should unless I'm using it by itself, but I need the features of launcherpro. Also, this was weird, but last night when i installed the ROM, it said I had a corrupted memory card in the rom, and wouldn't let me use my phone as a hard disk because of this problem, but when I rebooted in recovery, it let me go to my backup (skyraider) and my card was working again. Anybody else have this happen? I'm going to retry today.
EDIT: Just re-installed Miui again, same problem. Card is corrupt in Miui, but fine when I revert back to SkyRaider. I ordered a new card (16 GB Class 6 Transcend), so maybe that will fix things. I've been using just a 4 GB Class 2 Sandisk. I've had it for at least 3 years, too.

What do you mean card is corrupt? What errors are you getting? When I plug in my phone it says card is "..something or other" and to scan it. I just close the box and pay no attention. Is that what you are seeing?
I use stock launcher for now, but have been known to flip back to LP when I'm in the mood.

It refused to let me mount my microsd card saying there are errors and i need to reformat. But It allows me to revert back to skyraider, and it's fine.

Weird, never saw that. You should post it in Miui Forums.
Im thinking it's an issue with the card, but it's just weird that it's fine when I go back to SkyRaider. I'll post it anyways just in case. But it isn't the first time my sd card has gave me issues. Haha.
You can't go wrong with a class 6 16GB. That's exactly what I have and it's awesome. I never have to look at space usage with backups and music.
My current card is down to under 1 GB left anyways. I constantly have to monitor it and delete stuff to keep room on it. I can't wait till it gets here!

I started out using launcherpro with miui, but has since decided that I like the launcher that comes with the rom. One of the cool things is that it has 14 different screens.
Things you may not have known:
Pressing the volume down button while continuing to press the menu button takes screen caps.
When your battery gets low, the rom automatically turns off background data and the back light to save battery life.
I'm sure there are other things I don't know about, but this rom kicks ass.

Neat little tidbits I never knew. Thanks! I'm sure it'll be my ROM once the new sd card comes in, but I need my shortcuts, 5 columns, 6 rows, etc. of launcherpro... but then again, 14 screens! Maybe I don't need it so much. Decisions decisions! I'd probably rather have an app drawer though instead of all the apps iphone-like. I know you can seperate it into folders, but still.
I guess I'll have to toy around w/ both, and figure it out when the time comes

Oh, I know. It sucks that there's features in launcherpro that aren't in the stock muiu launcher, and vise versa. Another question for you's, that i'll probably fix in a moment. After restoring all my apps and data from titanium backup, i get constant force closes of acore. Would it be bc I installed everything (including sense)? I'm gonna try w/out the sense stuff now.

More than likely since this is a stock android rom.
Sense stuff doesn't work.

2 days with this ROM and so far it's a winner in my book. So smooth, the folders are awesome . Still getting use to the launchers layout but so far it's really pleasing me. Can't believe I almost didn't even try this ROM out. Thanks Bjanow for the push ha
Wish picture messaging would work for me, but I guess 2 months of CM6 not workin either I'm used to it.

I think the screens go up to 16 or 17. Use folders for organization, currently there is no way to arrange apps other than that or placing them where you want. If I make 4 or 5 folders with stuff like, root apps, social networking, news and weather, tools, communication, things like that, then I can pretty much get done what I need in a very short period of time. Head on over to: [ROM] MIUI 0.11.5.1 | Stock | Deodexed | UPDATED 11/9/2010 - xda-developers or the newer forum where the dev hangs out at: MIUI-DEV Forums • View forum - HTC Incredible to see if you can pick up some pointers.

That's great to hear that you're liking it. New update usually every Sunday and they fix stuff all the time. Flash over works for most unless you have major issues then it's a wipe. I'm sure the MMS issue will be fixed soon as a lot of folks are making a stink.
11.5 is finally stable enough for me to use to see how i like this... battery life is very good... trying to resist the urge to install a different kernel cause thats usually where things go wrong for me with this rom...
Had bad luck with any kernel other than stock, the exception is the battery_aosp kernel from adrynalyne. This one's a keeper.
And miui is too!

After using this beast with a couple different kernels, I am more than happy with the kernel that gets loaded with the rom. it is truly the best kernel for the rom. The other kernels I have tried either made the rom buggy, or drain battery like a seive...

*edit: Best yet, the stock kernel that came with miui
This is an advance release out of cycle since I'm trying to get the ROM in the hands of theme devs and theme users to check out the incredible new theming engine!
As a reminder, I only provide support for this rom on miui-dev.com and simply post updates here for your convenience
Hope everyone has been enjoying this ROM as much as I have!

You did load the new version right? I was going to install it over the previous one but inadvertently wiped out the backup when I was cleaning up my RM stuff. I had put on Lou's RR 2.1.2 just to have another rom to swap with. One simple touch and my backup was gone. So I reloaded this new one with a full wipe and things look pretty good so far. I don't OC any more, I just can't see the benefit with the phone as quick as it is. But I do know a lot of folks like to OC and burn it up. If you find it stable with the new version and default kernel post it up. I still have setcpu hanging around for weekend playing.
Couldn't get into it. Just loaded this ROM up and and things felt slow and out of order. There was a noticeable lag going from an app to the home screen, and transitioning from one home screen to another just felt a little slow. Plus, all my apps were splayed out over 7 different screens, which made them a bit unmanageable.
I want to like this ROM. Probably will give it another shot tomorrow, but I'm back to Redemption for the night. I think I need to spend a little time getting the pages set up into folders. I've become accustomed to my LP ways.
For some reason Home Switcher isn't working for me. Can anyone tell me how to switch launchers so that I can use LP as the default? Thanks
Edit: Just kidding. Found my answer and I'll post here just in case anyone else was wondering:
Go to settings, manage applications, find the launcher. Click on launcher and then go to clear defaults. Next time you press home button, it will ask which one to use as the default.
Cheers

So far I really really like this. The Facebook not synching right is very irksome. Its the main reason I rooted. I noted someone else said something about this but I didn't see a resolution. Did anyone get theirs to work? Its synching all fb contacts not just the ones in my phone... other than that excellent job.

Has anyone gotten DSP Manager working on this ROM? I tried installing using this method [TIP] Installing DSP-based equalizer on Android 2.2 stock ROMs. - xda-developers and also just putting that zip on my sd card and installing from clockwork. I am getting force closes when I open up DSP and also power amp force closes on boot. Wondering if there is another zip file anywhere but couldn't find one in my search.
