Default Rooting after update 2.3.5

Is there a way to root Incredible S after update 2.3.5? i can't even flash hboot after this update.

You have to unlock the bootloader using the procedure at HTCDEV.com. Once the bootloader/HBOOT is UNLOCKED, then you can flash ClockworkMod Recovery using the FASTBOOT commands in FASTBOOT mode (FASTBOOT flash recovery [path to recovery.img]).

Once you have CWM installed, you can use recovery mode to install su-3.0-efgh-signed.zip to root the ROM.
