Default Why does my internet keep closing?

It's been happening a lot lately...when I open up my Internet and start to scroll around, it closes out and kicks me back to the home screen. I haven't downloaded anything lately, other than the maintenance update from Verizon/HTC. (It doesn't show the typical Force Close screen either, it just closes the internet window and I'm back at the home screen.)

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? It's VERY ANNOYING!!!

Needless to say, I've yet to do the update since I'm rooted and haven't decided if I want to or not, yet this was happening with me yesterday as well. My solution was switching to Dolphin HD which has been awesome.. I believe it is a much stronger browser than the stock one.

i have the same problem sometimes also with the stock browser. Maybe once a week so doesn't bother me much. But I've never had the problem with other browsers on the market.

Make sure you have the latest Adobe flash player installed on your phone. If you don't it will kick you off webpages that have flash running.
