market and talk not working over wifi
I have the HTC Incredible (CDMA) and I have been spending a lot of time in the UK, where there is zero voice/data connection for CDMA, so i only have wifi. While here, nothing will download from the market place, everything is stuck on "starting download", and it will not connect to google talk (which i dont really care about, but one of the solutions i've seen says to sign into google talk), and if i try to open the youtube app, it just instantly closes. I can still get my gmail, go on the internet, and it appears that non google apps work fine (i can get on tripit and things like that).
on my last trip here I had the same problems, and I had tried factory resets, installing different roms, and just about everything I could think of and nothing fixed it, but when I got back to the states, it all worked perfectly fine. when i was last home i upgraded to CyanogenMod-6.1.0-RC2-Inc and installed and updated all my apps just fine, so that is what im running now.
I have seen similar threads to my question, but none of them seem to align exactly and/or none of their solutions fix my problem, a lot of people seem to have the problem and it just goes away, but they are usually somewhere with 3g coverage, and they just choose to be on wifi, so if someone things there is another thread with a solution, I would appreciate a link.
If anybody has any advice, potential fixes, similar problems, I would be interested to hear.
