Default help! i need to know if my phone is broke!

I have the HTC incredible and I fear that my phone is starting to fail. I haven't downloaded any new applications and my phone said that my internal memory is almost full. I moved a bunch of apps onto my SD card and nothing changed, I then started uninstalling applications and when I had accidentally uninstalled an application that I needed when I tried to reinstall it it wouldn't let me because my phone wouldn't let me install it cause my phone memory is full. Idk if my phone is starting fail or if I am doing something wrong please help me out

Your phone is fine, it's a common issue:
"Low on space" phone/application storage notification
