Default I can't hear from the ear speaker!

When people call me i can't hear what their saying.. i have to put them on speaker to hear them... This may be the reason but my friend spilled ice cream on it earlier, but we cleaned it up as fast as we good and dried it... so if it is the ice creams fault.. what damage is that ? and what could i do about it?

File an insurance claim if you have it.

Hey Miller57! Have you had any luck with your problem. I haven't spilled any ice cream but my HTC Desire wouldn't let me hear a caller unless I put it on the loudspeaker. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default Ear Speaker Solution

Hi,

I had a similar problem with my HTC sensation XL.

Problem may be caused if the SIM card is too loose. I managed to fix mine by putting pressure on the metal piece that holds the sim card in.

Hope this solution helps - goodluck!!
