My address book shows 2-3 entries for most of my people. I know that this has something to do with my sync for facebook. But I really want to reduce this to just one listing per person. How would I do that? I tried to just delete the one that had the least amount of information, but I cant find a delete button anywhere.

What I found was a whole bunch of duplication involving backup assistant. I re-organized my contacts and made them all Google contacts. Now they remain solo listing's with Facebook links. It took a while to do it but it sure did cure that problem. Oh yeah, I went on the Verizon website, found the backup assistant page, made all those contacts into Google contacts. Then put the backup assistant contacts all in their trash can. That way if I mistakenly forget to make a contact a Google contact on my phone, it still will keep a backup of those that slip through the cracks without restocking my phone again with ALL the contacts that I had in backup assistant. It's confusing and took me awhile to realize what was happening. Deep down in these forums is where lies the answers to all questions.

Go into the people app, and you can hit menu and get into the settings to change the viewable contacts and remove Facebook.
