The VZ store said that VZ corp told them the 'fix' is to factory reset the phone. They did this to the other persons Inc that was experiencing these problems and it did not fix the problem. I told them that I would wait to hear what VZ Corp was going to do with the other person prior to me trying the 'factory reset', which to me sounds like VZ saying we don't know what the real issue is so lets just throw something at it and see if it sticks.
They are supposed to let me know this week. As always I will be traveling for business so it will be a bit before I do anything.
Their other 'fix' was for me to 'upgrade' to a new phone and plan - I told them that while I may 'upgrade', that 'upgrade' may well be to a new carrier that doesn't push untested software to it's clientele.
