Change default gallery that fb uses for photo upload?

Hello, this issue has brought me out of lurker status.

I am in a few facebook groups. I used to easily be able to post pics from my phone gallery to the group wall without them showing up on my own wall or albums. After one of these blasted fb updates, I lost that ability. Now when I try to upload a picture, it will default to a camera app. The only pics it will let me upload from that point are ones that are on the SD card (not from the albums where I need them).

I removed the last update that seemed to cause the problem, but it didn't fix it.

I've been searching here and Googling but none of the fixes seem to address my particular issue (I admit that I may be too dense to make the connection if they do).
